Welcome to the School of Business, Economics, Hospitality and Tourism Management (SBEHTM), a fast growing School in Machakos University. The School was established in mid-2022 after merging the then School of Business and Economics with School of Hospitality and Tourism Management to offer unique training in Economics, Business Hospitality and Tourism with an aim of producing managers who can meet the rapidly changing market demands in our economy and beyond. Towards this end, the School has continually embarked on Research and training to build capacities of our students in fields of Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Statistics, Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism.
Currently, the student population in the School stands at 2,200 across the various programmes. Administratively, the School has three (3) departments, namely;

-Business and Finance
-Hospitality and Tourism
