The Department of Accounting, Banking & Finance (ABF) at Machakos University, School of Business & Economics offers graduate and undergraduate degree majors aligned with our faculty’s specialized knowledge and expertise. We provide our students with rigorous grounding in three key concentrations in areas of banking and finance, including an array of accountancy profession courses and or financial management. The department offers perfect training for those intending to develop careers in accountancy, banking and financial management. We apply practical approaches of the social sciences to understanding financial concerns and challenges in our society to come up with insightful solutions that benefit business organizations and society.
The department currently offers dual-majors in Accounting and Finance in the anchor Bachelor of Commerce degree programme jointly with Business Administration department. In addition, the department services various schools with courses in accounting and finance. Our departmental majors provide students with broad training in the disciplines of accountancy, banking, and financial management.
